Product Description

1. Advanced Siping Technology

Sipes are thin slits in a treadblock that cut through water of the road surface to gain traction. Kinforest’s 3D Multiwave sipes feature an interlocking ripple design, which allows the sipes to “lockâ€‌ together while braking to act like a continuous tread block and provides traction while accelerating.

2. Smooth Driving

Using proprietary advanced tire manufacturing technology, KF550 delivers consistent tire uniformity for a smooth and enjoyable driving experience. Its functionally beautiful tread pattern was engineered to minimize road noise. 

3. Straight-Line Stability

Continuous solid center rib provides straight-line stability.

4. Dry Performance

Exterior pattern design with larger size blocks provides stability for enhanced dry and cornering performance.

5. Wet Performance

Four wide, deep circumferential grooves and streamlined, open lateral grooves improve water evacuation for increased wet handling and traction.

6. Tread Compound

The advanced tread compound balances dry traction and treadlife.

7. Handling Stability

The tread blocks were reinforced to provide great rigidity and stability. This creates a consistent contact patch under various driving conditions.
